Over
thirty-seven years and thousands of confident divers
has earned Scuba World the reputation of providing some of
the finest scuba instruction in Central Florida. We
offer several standard scuba certification course
curriculums, all of which are sanctioned by the National
Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI) and the
Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI).
NAUI and PADI trained divers are recognized worldwide as
some of the best.

Course Curriculum
Monday
(9am-6pm): Introduction to Scuba Diving (bring all of your
dive gear and student book set)
Tuesday
(9am-6pm): Lecture on the basics of scuba diving, swim
evaluation & snorkeling/scuba PEs.
Wednesday
(7am-6pm): Open water checkout dives, Lake Denton
Thursday:
(7am-6pm): Open water checkout dives, Lake Denton.
Friday:
(9am-6pm): Any necessary make-ups and Final Exam.

Lunch will not be provided so
either pack a lunch
or bring money for a fast food run.
Drinks and snacks available.

Includes:
lectures, pool training, open water dives and the use of the
tank, regulator and buoyancy compensator. Does not
include: Books or personal dive equipment (mask, fins,
booties, snorkel, weight belt w/weights, dive bag or dive
suit). You must be at least 10 years of age and medically
fit for diving. You will be required to pass all tests
including an initial swim evaluation before certification is
awarded. **Courses may be rescheduled w/less than 6
students enrolled or scheduled anytime 6 students are
available. Make-up training and dives incur
additional costs to student.

Dates and times can be adjusted to fit the summer schedule
for the group. We need at least 6 students to conduct a
class. Parents have the option to train along with their
kids and are encouraged to a least monitor the class and
accompany us during the open water dives at Lake Denton. We
can also conduct the open water dives in Key Largo at an
additional cost.
